Monday, Monday, Monday!
I haven't got much for this beautiful Monday. I've been looking for inspiration, watching a lot of old movies. So here's what I want to know: What inspires you? What movies, books, music do you go to when your well of ideas feels dry?

Typically I turn to metal (Metallica, Staind), emo (Our Lady Peace, Blue October), or cynical folk rock (Marcy Playground, Tom Petty, Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby Stills and Nash, Beck).
And I wonder why my stuff is dark.
Road trip! I don't care what the weather is like, something about being in a moving vehicle gets the prose flowing. I'll bring someone along and play the 'what if' game. The more bizarre and off kilter the suggestions, the more likely I'll write about it. (Hugs)Indigo
I'll go for a drive or dig out a favorite book or CD that I hadn't listened to in a while, see what gets stirred up.
