Book Trailers

I never did a book trailer for Deathday.  I find most to be somewhat cheesy, amateurish, and most importantly, they don't make me want to read the book.

The trailer below is an example of how great a book trailer can be.  It's for Patrick Ness's A MONSTER CALLS, which I read and loved.  I think you'll love it too. That is all.

This is so bad ass.

I really want that book.

Ok, on the to-read list. That was awesome.

But...they already gave me the image of the monster and I haven't met it yet. I ain't sayin' I'm the least control-freaky person around, but I like that in a book I can make my own monstor.

You know what, though, I'd totally see Monstor Calls: the movie by that same artist.

Matthew: It really, really is.

Leah: To be fair, the book is illustrated, so the monster in the book would have been revealed in an image with or without the trailer. It's still an amazing book.

It's also on the front cover.
